Unitemps’ recruiters are here to help you find the opportunity you have been looking for, matching your skills and experience to exciting opportunities. Natasha discusses her role and how she can help you.
What is your background/experience?
I studied French with Business at Liverpool University then spent some time working in telesales as I wanted to work within recruitment. I then spent three and a half years in Education Recruitment before joining Unitemps.
What does your role entail?
We deal with all sectors and work to find a lot of student roles and graduate positions too. On the other hand, we also focus on roles from all levels, specialist roles and a range of roles open to members of the public – you don’t need to have to be studying or to have graduated to find a job at Unitemps.
What is your area of specialism?
I specialise in translation, across the offices at Warwick, Leamington and Birmingham.
What are your tips for job seekers?
Be open-minded – a small opportunity can lead to a big opportunity. As you’re temping, you’re picking up skills you don’t realise you’re learning. For example, the ability to work with new people and things like that – things you wouldn’t necessarily think of but you learn a lot of transferable skills that will shape you as a person as well as professionally.
What have you enjoyed the most about working at Unitemps?
The variety in what we do! What I was doing previously was just the same type of role and the same type of person, it got quite monotonous. But now, I’m getting to know more about different sectors and different people as well. I wanted a change, something more varied and opportunities for career progression.
