We are delighted to announce that Middlesex University have joined our growing Unitemps franchise network.
Paul Brewster, Director of Unitemps remarked “We are pleased to welcome Middlesex University to the Unitemps network. Our franchise model has been developed to meet the particular needs of Universities. Drawing upon the experience and expertise of recruitment consultants, HR professionals and the Higher Education community, the model offers students and institutions all the benefits of an in-house recruitment agency, as well as addressing social responsibility concerns and enhancing the wider student experience to the advantage of all stakeholders. We look forward to working closely together to make Unitemps Middlesex a success.”
Middlesex University will offer a wide range of paid, part-time, temporary work opportunities to students on-campus including roles within their successful Student Ambassador and Student Learning Assistant Schemes as well as many other varied opportunities across their Faculties and Services.
Kate Douglas, Director of Employability said: “Middlesex University’s mission is to provide students with the opportunities and tools to chart their path to success; we put students’ first and constantly aim to improve what has gone before. Becoming a Unitemps Franchise will support the University to achieve its mission and live-out its values through a streamlined recruitment process that will facilitate an increase in the number of paid opportunities for students and the introduction of the London Living Wage. Middlesex University is proud to become the 12th Unitemps Franchise and looks forward to playing an active role in the Franchise network.”
Unitemps Middlesex will be embedded within the university’s MDXWORKS employment hub based in the London, Hendon campus.
Alan Stuart, Head of MDXWORKS on-campus commented: “The location will provide students with an ideal place to look for paid flexible work both within the University and in the local community. As it sits within our Employability Service – we will be able to align these valuable work experience opportunities with our core employability skills development initiatives – offering a unique platform for students to truly ‘hit the ground running’ when they graduate.”
Unitemps Middlesex will open on February 1st 2017 when students will have the opportunity to register for work experience and job opportunities.
